I was active in the jazz scene in Chicago in th late 50's as a tenor player. I bought and still have the original vinyl of "How to speak hip". We all loved it because they talked like we talked and actually validated what we were saying. I digitized the vinyl recording, loaded it on my iPod and play it often. It's a classic that us old guys remember fondly. And by the way, my brother-in-law was also in the insurance business.
